We are never late, because we have good watches
During the ten years of operation at the Blonie factory, many iconic watches were created. One of them is the Zodiak, whose timeless minimalism inspired us to work on its contemporary version. The Zodiak model was the first one we decided to resurrect after the brand's reactivation in 2014. In 2020, six years later, we are returning to this iconic model.
When designing the “new” Zodiac, we tried to stay true to the original style of the prototype and update it with a modern look. As a result, we created a slim-profile watch with a classic look that is perfect for nearly any occasion.
Błonie Zodiak was inspired by the original shape of the case and its convex glass, typical of 1960s watches. The part that makes it resemble the first Zodiak so much is the dial, with the trademark lines crossing in the middle. Below 12:00 o’clock, the dial sports a revamped Błonie logo designed by the Polish calligrapher Adam Romuald Kłodecki. We also decided to commemorate a piece of the original “Zodiak” inscription, putting it on the caseback.
