Description
VRATISLAVIA CONCEPTUM - H34 “ Lightning”.
Automatic men's watch on a black strap
Limited edition of 100 pieces
To create the H34 model, we were inspired by the ORP Blyskawica ship and specifically the machine telegraph mounted on its deck. The characteristic telegraph dial was creatively redesigned by us to indicate the hours. We also decided to keep one technically shaped pointer which, together with the graduation on the dial, allows the time to be read with an accuracy of 5 minutes. After getting used to a slightly different form of time reading, an experienced user is able to read the position of the hand with an accuracy of 1-3 minutes. The watch's contemporary universal 40mm envelope, crown and buckle are made entirely of tin bronze (CuSn8) . With more than 90 percent copper content in this alloy, these components will change their appearance over time. Bronze is a durable and widely used material that has been used for hundreds of years. Pure tin bronze, immediately after processing, has a color similar to rose gold, shiny. After a few weeks, it gradually begins to oxidize, darken, dull and “bronze”. Sometimes even greenish tarnishes characteristic of oxidizing copper may appear locally. These oxides protect the material from external factors and give it a Vintage character. It is possible to restore the original golden bronze color in various ways, professional and those less professional (home). When the oxidation is not yet very advanced, the envelope, after removing the strap and making sure that the crown is well screwed on, can be immersed for 20minutes in, for example, coca-cola, taken out, rinsed with water and dried with a cloth.
The sapphire glass used in the H34 has a multi-layer anti-reflective coating, which ensures good readability in all conditions. The crown of the watch is screwed down and has a unique design referring to ship's hatches and windows ( porthole ) . It provides great convenience of operation. The stainless steel lid of the watch contains information about the limitation number and deeply engraved graphics prepared by cooperating arch. Piotr Trojniel with an image of ORP Blyskawica and detailing the set of cannons and torpedoes that were in one of its service periods. The strap supplied with the watch is sewn by hand in Europe from high quality waxed Italian Vintage leather with so-called automatic telescopes that allow its quick replacement with any other strap without the use of tools. You can quickly change the face of your watch whenever you want.
The watch comes in an elegant package, perfect for a gift. Warranty 2 years.
