DURUM comes from Latin and means hard, rough, which in the case of this model refers to its versatility and resistance to difficult conditions.

The distinctive military green dial features a camouflage pattern that changes depending on the angle of light. The indices and hands are filled with a thick layer of luminescent material, ensuring excellent readability at any time of the day or night.

The watch case, with a universal size of 40 mm, the crown, and the clasp are made entirely of tin bronze (CuSn8). Over 90% of the copper content in this alloy causes these elements to change their appearance over time.

Bronze is a durable material that has been used for hundreds of years. Pure tin bronze, immediately after processing, has a color similar to rose gold and is shiny. After a few weeks, it gradually begins to oxidize, darken, tarnish, and “bronze.” Sometimes, greenish deposits characteristic of oxidizing copper may appear. The resulting oxides protect the material from external factors and give it a vintage character.

It is possible to restore the original color of bronze, both by professional and home methods. When oxidation is not yet very advanced, the case (after removing the strap and making sure that the crown is tightly screwed down) can be immersed in Coca-Cola for about 20 minutes, then rinsed with water and dried with a cloth.
