Wojtek the Soldier Bear was an orphaned Syrian bear tub, adopted by the soldiers of the Polish Army.

He was serving with the 22nd Artillery Supply Company of Polish II Corps during the 2nd World War, promoted to the rank of corporal.

This friendly and vigorous animal was known for his unprecedented love, outstanding bravery, faithfulness, and loyalty to his soldier comrades.

It is the most famous bear in the history of Poland, that would help children to understand how long and difficult was polish soldiers’ way home, and how difficult was the way to freedom.

This is why this iconic friend was decided as the main theme of our newest watch – Wojtek the Soldier Bear.
